It's time to share your first job blunders!

You want to make a good impression on your first job, but you commit your first blunder. You'll make another one, and so on. You never been so humiliated, but it's OK. It happens to everyone.

Here are some blunders worth recounting:

It was your first day on your first job, and you woke up earlier than you planned. You were glad that it turned out that way, as you had time to give yourself a pep talk. You also did your cardio. The office was several blocks away from where you lived, so you decided to walk. You were excited, also eager to show your (new) colleagues that you would be a great asset to the company. And then you stepped on dog poop. You should have watched your step, but you visualized how your day would turn out. You were affected, and it showed later. One of your colleagues couldn't help but snicker (after you told him how your day began). You promised to look ahead next time.

Your boss told you to report on a Saturday, which you don't mind. You were too eager to do well on your first month. Alas, the Internet properly broke (during your shift). You had no choice but to call the providers, so they would reinstall the wires. You were mortified when you recounted the incident to your boss. You were grateful that he didn't fire you, but you were rather hard on yourself.

It was your first Christmas party, and you thought jeans and shirt would do. You were surprised to see a black tie event. (It wasn't specified in the invitation, but you should have asked your colleagues.) You were embarrassed when you were seated besides your boss and his much younger girlfriend. You consoled yourself with the fact that this gathering was your opportunity to catch up with other colleagues, whom you haven't seen for half an hour.

You were the waiter for a wedding reception, where you filled champagne (on glasses). This wasn't your first time to do this kind of job, so you had a bottle (of champagne) on each hand. But you leaned too much when you were beside the bride and groom. And the champagne (from the other bottle) poured into her dress. You apologized many times, even tried to make light of the situation. It was a good thing that the newly-married couple have a sense of humor, but your superior decided it would be better if you were far from the customers. You ended up washing the dishes in the kitchen.

You worked for a football club when you encountered an obnoxious character. You had no choice but to kick him out. Those who witnessed it were cheering for you, which made you feel good. He turned out to be the club chairman.

It's time to reveal your first-job blunder. Don't be shy.
