Searching for the most productive place to work

You've been in your current job for almost a year, and you already settled in. You've made great strides in such a short time, as you have new friends and a boss who noticed you right away. (And you insist it's for work-related reasons.) You like your corner, where you manage to focus on your tasks in an hour or less. You recalled the last few years during a break. And something piqued your curiosity. What would be the most productive place to work?

You knew your office to be the ideal spot, but you read news features about how work would change in the future. You weren't thinking of robots, but it would be inevitable. You don't have to do the usual routine during weekdays, which your parents warned you beforehand. (They got tired of it, so they thought of a holiday every year or two.) This led you to recall the university. You road tested the options (on where was the best place to study), so you figured out there won't be many differences. There would be more urgent moments, though.

You were resting by the couch later that evening, wondering the possible places to work. These were the options:

Apartment. Convenience was the best thing about studying in the dormitory. You knew it wouldn't be much different in the apartment. If you wanted to sweat it out, then you could choose the time when there won't be too many people in the gym. Laundry could be any time of the day. The familiarity would help you, but there were instances when there was too much convenience. You didn't follow your schedule on certain days. This affected your plan. (Your housemates were worried that you were spending too much time on your reading list, but you were trying your college best in time management.) This won't be good for work, as you rather follow a strict schedule. You want to look forward to weekend, where loafing would be an option.

Coffee shop. This was rather a tricky one. Caffeine won't be a problem, but finding a socket could be a Herculean task. And proximity would affect your performance for the rest of the day. (You recalled how you missed your deadline after not finding one near your laptop.) You also took your surrounding into consideration. (The noise could affect your concentration, but some students were immune to it. You weren't one of those people, though.) It would be nice to try to work in the coffee shop now and then, but you couldn't imagine doing it for one straight week.

Places of interest. Nothing like a beautiful scenery to inspire you. In fact, you experienced the benefits many times before. But the workplace would be another thing. You rather be practical, and there were times when the task must be done right away. Maybe you could give it a try while doing freelancing jobs. You wondered when it would be, as you were getting drowsy.
